Trails could be both easy or hard depending on the path you choose. Several areas were nice walks with minimal stairs. Saw several elderly Koreans were enjoying the day in these areas. After the temple/shrine there is a series of stairs that go on for quite some time. These stairs change it from an easy hike to a more challenging one. The views up at the top were worth it though ( plus they're were some cherry blossoms left).

소요산 등산로 주차장~일주문 약 1.5km구간은 유명한 단풍길 구간 원효폭포는 수량이 적고, 자재암과 청량폭포의 멋드러진 조화가 인상적임

폭포라고 하기에는... 이게 폭포면 파리도 새라고 해야할정도 근처 절에서 틀어놓은 불경소리 시끄러움. 산에서 웬만하면 이런것 좀틀어놓지 말았으면.. 물소리.새소리.바람소리 만으로 충분함.. 스님이 나직이 읊조리는 불경소리는 듣기좋아도.. 스피커에서 들러오는 소리는 다 소음임..공공장소에서 스피커폰으로 음악듣는것도 무례하거늘..사람들 의중에 상관없이 스피커로 쾅쾅 울리는 불경소리는 듣기좋은줄 아나? 똑같다..무례하기는.. 안듣고싶은 사람도 있다.. 듣고싶은사람만찾아서 듣게 하고 안들을...

소요산 골짜기는 길지않아 물이 많지 않습니다 여름 비온뒤 왔을땐 폭포 같았는데 늦가을 와보니 폭포수가 조금밖에 내려오지 안네요 명성 만큼은 아닌것 같네요 올해는 따뜻해서인지 10월 말인데도 단풍이 붉게 물 들지 않았네요 그러나 날씨가맑아서...
