Deokpyeong dinosaur the Arboretum — Attraction in Icheon-si

The place is great for a daytrip from Seoul specially for kids. Best to stay until 7pm because the beautiful place transforms into something magical once they turn on the lights. Follow google maps until Icheon Station but once you get there, just get a cab going to the place. Not easily accessible by bus or public transport. Ho Young, An was very hospitable and helpful since we arrived. From entry to the time we ordered food for lunch until the shop when we were buying stuff. We also asked him to help us get a taxi to go back to Icheon Station. He gave is warm drinks while waiting and since it was taking too long for the taxi to arrive, he had the service vehicle bring us to our destination without accepting any form of payment. This is a great little park and our daughter loved it. A fair bit of walking and the dinosaurs are a tad cheesy but overall it’s a very relaxing adventure. We plan on returning in the fall when the foliage should be fantastic. For two adults and a 2yo the fee was 20k and that was very reasonable. Very cheesy mechanical dinosaurs, but my son LOVED it! Paths are up hill (because it's a mountain) so wear appropriate shoes. Very beautiful scenery. It ended up pouring down rain and they came around and handed out umbrellas to everyone! Tons of animals to see as well. Will be making a trip again...
