Very nice hiking area and the birch trees are beautiful even in the winter! Before entering need to purchase the traction grips for shoes if you already don’t have one for 5,000 Korean Won. This place is truly one of a kind in Korea. It's the only birch forest in the country, nestled in the mountains of Gangwon province. Getting there is easy if you have a private or rented car.
