I gave 1 star as an overall score, taking into consideration the remote location and poor public transportation. Going there by public buses was about 2hrs including walking.
The park itself was average, it has an indoor building and most attractions are outdoor, so it's advisable to go during cooler seasons.
The reason for 1 star is the transportation when going back. We left at closing time ard 6pm and this was the extremely bad experience we had. We walked to the bus stop 15mins away outside. However the local app does not show any buses 211 or 212 coming for this bus stop. Instead the local app showed that there was a bus 810 coming at another bus stop abt 15min walk further at 648pm. So we walked along some very remote road to the bus stop and realised there was no bus coming after 648pm. We googled and realised from some website then the last bus could hv left ard 545pm and what the local app showing was probably inaccurate. So we walked out again and reach the first bus stop. We saw a few pple waiting there and they also seemed to be looking at the posters at the bus stop to check the timings. It was after 7pm by then. As we were not sure if any buses will come, we didn't want to take a chance being stuck in the rural remote area. So we called a taxi which took about 30 to 40mins to bring us back to the hotel.
If this island is serious about tourism, the basic requirements they need to ensure is reliable public transportation to tourist sites, and clear communication in other languages besides korean. The posters at the bus stops were all in Korean, no way for us to decipher the frequency of the buses, the last bus service etc. If buses to tourist site have to be infrequent, at least the communications must be clear. Second, the park closes at 6pm, how can the bus service for 810 ends before 6pm? This is ridiculous. If you can't provide frequent regular public transportation, at least sure the last bus is at least 30mins after closing time. Third, the bus stops should hv been nearby outside the park, it does not make sense for tourist to walk so far and along a very remote road to take the bus 810.
Overall, unless you are a die hard fan of snoopy, I would not recommend coming here by public transportation. We went to other tourist sites by the local tours but as we couldn't find any tour just for snoopy Garden, this was why we decided to take public transportation. We were lucky that despite the local app in Korean language, we managed to book a cab through it and didn't have to be stuck in a rural remote area without toilet overnight. Plan carefully before going snoopy garden.
In fact, think carefully before coming to Jeju, if other places like seoul can satisfy what you want for your holidays. After going for 2 days of local tours visiting the southern and Eastern parts of the island, I am still unsure what's so special in this island for us to take domestic flights to come in and out of the island. Its probably a hyped up tourist place. I believe food like black pork and seafood can all be found in Seoul. And by the way, Google map does not really work in Korea, the info on the public transportation inside is inaccurate. So you need to use the local app kakao or naver, which is in Korean and may not be reliable for remote...

Donkey and I had a blast at Snoopy Garden! It was like stepping into a Peanuts cartoon. We loved exploring the different themed halls in the Garden House, like the "Relationship" and "Daily Life" halls. They had so many cool exhibits, including cartoon strips, videos, and even interactive displays. I especially loved the “Happiness” hall. I said it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. We also had a delicious brunch at the cafe. We even got to take pictures with some of the Peanuts characters outside in the garden, which was a lot of fun.
The outdoor garden was beautiful too, with its lush greenery and classic Peanuts scenes. We had a relaxing stroll through the “blanket forest” and Charlie Brown’s baseball field. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery after exploring the Garden House.
We felt the entrance fee of 19,000 won per person was a fair price for all the fun activities and experiences Snoopy Garden offered. As we like to take photos, we spent about 2.5 to 3 hours exploring the park, and we had a wonderful time.
We highly recommend Snoopy Garden to anyone visiting Jeju Island, especially if you’re a...
