Imsil Cheese Theme Park — Attraction in Jeonbuk State

First: Avoid this if you have a wheelchair or some other physical disability. It is is like some small mini alps with lots of steep pathways and stairs.

Otherwise, I had a nice time out, visting together with the October festival, so I can't say how it is during other times. Cheese ice cream, cheese chocolate and a very fitting cheese feel to it all. Even with a small reproduction from Sounds of Music. It was beautiful with lots of flowers and a nice playground. There was a small zoo with cows, hens and two ostriches (!), but the closures were small and they didn't look very happy.

I would have no problem recommending this as an outing if you have kids, but otherwise I'd skip it unless...

first of all Imsil is so far from Seoul, but once you are here you will fall in love with this town. Love the ambience, so peaceful and quiet. So many greeny and beautiful view to look at. If you are a big fan or dairy products then you MUST VISIT this theme park. Love the park and you can buy their products to bring home from cheese, sausages to yogurt and snacks. Visited the Imsil Cheese Park and it was quite an experience. They were having a festival over the weekend which was fun and there were dozens of vendors selling everything from fried cheese to fresh yogurt to pizza. Overall I had fun. It was a kind of long walk from the bus terminal but on the way back I was able to get a free bus ride back.
