Pretty fun museum for all ages!

Didn't really know what to expect because we just visited while we were waiting for something else in the area.

It was so interesting to see all the different kinds of bicycles and to learn a bit more about the history of bicycles in Sangju and in Korea. I didn't know that Sangju was considered the bicycle mecca of S. Korea! The museum is actually near a bicycle path.

If you can't read Korean, I think it would be difficult to enjoy the historical aspect of it, but it is still interesting to see all the bicycle types. Plus when the weather is nice, the kids get to try riding bicycles through the obstacle course they set up outside. Museums in Korea don't cost that much so I think you get a good deal for your money regardless of your level of Korean.

The museum itself is also a really nice building and the views from it are very...

Somehow I feel this is a must do when you are cycling the four rivers trail... But also it is sadly underwhelming... They have cold drinks and restrooms though. If you are traveling by any other means than bicycle don't go. If you are not a super nerdy bicycle buff that can read Korean also: Avoid! Alert! Avoid. This place is hard to rate. They seem to be teaching children bicycling skills in an outdoor area which I soooo respect and adore. But objectively for me it was a nice place to get a drink and hard boiled eggs. Which I feel is a fail for any kind of establishment that calls it...

You will pass by this interesting museum if you do Seoul to Busan route. Fun place to explore history of cycling. They have a room for stamps too (Tour De France). The friendly staff (male) gave me a personal tour, since I was the first guest. Thank you! Since you are in South Korea for cycling, you should spend 30-45 mins to cover...

Looks like an interesting museum - liked their collection of stamps depicting cycling. However there was no information available in foreign languages. An info pamphlet or audio guide in other languages would make the museum more accessible to foreigners riding the 4 Rivers Trail
