Hwarangdae Railway Park — Attraction in Seoul

A must visit if you're in Seoul for an extended period. It's a bit outside of what you would consider the central part of town but definitely worth it. It's basically an old railway line dating from the Japanese occupation era, which is now transformed into a park. It's a nice place to get some exercise while also getting a dosage of history. The whole line is roughly six kilometers although I just visited one of the main disused stations section. This area also housed disused trains, which I found to be super cute. There's soon to be a new attraction at the park! A custom built HO scale layout will open soon. I had the privilege to get a sneak peak (no pun intended with the matterhorn in the photo) at the layout and it is going to be awesome!
