Seomi Garden — Attraction in South Gyeongsang

Such a beautiful place! Went there in the early evening and we were almost alone, we had a lot of time to stroll through the garden and took so many beautiful pictures! I definitely recommend visiting this garden if you have some spare time. You have to pay a little fee for the owner to maintain the garden, which is not much and...

The garden has potential, but it looks ignored. Stuff just grows around and a random piece of furniture is being thrown around randomly. I see nothing labeled. There are a few spots worth a shot but that's about it. Wasted potential....

외진 숲속길로 난 도로를 따라 가다보면 반대편에서 오는 차량을 보내느라 길모퉁이에 잠시 대기하기를 몇 차례 한 후 산 중턱 어딘가에 도착한 섬이정원. 이름모를 꽃들의 향연입니다. 때론 인공미가 전혀 가미되지 않은 듯하고 때론 인공미가 과감히 섞인 듯한 그런 정원입니다.

경사진 가파른 산을 따라 구불구불 등고선을 그리듯 계단을 쌓고 여기에 각종 꽃식물을 가꾸고 적당한 거리마다 휴게장소와 인공 연못을 만들어 수생식물을 재배하는데 그리 어렵지 않게 정원 한 바퀴 돌만한 그런 곳입니다.

코로나 바이러스로 푸념아닌 푸념을 늘여 놓는다면 꽃이 있으면 꽃향기를 맡는 것이 당연한 노릇인데 꽃향기를 맡는 것 조차 주변 관람객들 눈치를 살피며 코를 내밀어야 하고, 찌는듯 무더운 여름날씨에 마스크를 착용하고 걷는 일은...
