Built on the top of Mount Bongnaesan (799.8 m) in Yeongwol-gun County, Pyeolmaro Observatory is the largest astronomical observatory in Korea, where you can observe the moon and stars with a main telescope with a diameter of 80 cm and additional telescopes.
It’s a pity that the entrance to the observatory was closed during the visit, but that’s okay. but we took a lot of cool photos with panoramic views...

On a Morning of a cloudy day, you can experience being above the clouds. Unfortunately the observatory was closed that day so we were unable to see the museum inside.
