Praia Area da Secada — Attraction in A Illa de Arousa

The place is definitely beautiful. Surrounded by rocks and forest with a fantastic view. The sand isn't great as a lot of staff comes from the nearby forest but it isn't a big deal as the views compensate this. The beach has a blue flag so everything is there: toilets, showers, watch tower with lifeguard. Small bar with warm foods and cold drinks literally on the beach. The only problem is that during a summer season there are tons of tourists on this small beach so firstly it is hard to find a place even to place a single towel, secondly because of overcrowding it is almost impossible to appreciate this beautiful place. Es una de mis playas favoritas de la zona, sobre todo para ir con niños. Tiene aguas tranquilas y con muy poco oleaje. Puedes tener los niños en el agua perfectamente controlados desde las toallas. Se pueden alquilar pedaletas y canoas, que también les da mucho juego. Aunque suene llenarse, hay bastante sitio para aparcar. Si no es en el tramo principal, se puede aparcar donde el campo de fútbol, que queda cerca atravesando el pinar. El pinar tiene mesas muy recomendables para comer cómodos y a la sombra y también hay chiringuitos. Aunque sólo sea por unas cañas / refrescos y helados suele venir bien. Para comer, mejor reservar el día antes. Eso sí. Cuando sube la marea hay que apretarse, porque se queda algo pequeña. Servicios de salvamento, baños públicos bastante limpios, duchas,... Vamos,...
