HIKERS- 👍 The trails for hikers VARY and there are some shortcuts which make the climb faster but harder. It may seem like a maze, but you can find your way through and upon reaching the 4x4 road it's a great sensation!

CASTLE VISITORS- However, the place was quite disappointing. I rarely give bad reviews, but this place honestly stood out to me from the highway and upon reaching it.. the castle was closed because they were doing archeological work or something. So hiking for 1.5 hrs to get there and find that there's nothing you can see regarding the castle is saddening. On the other hand, you still have the beautiful view from up top...

Great place for a weekend walk. Easy access. Excellent exercise activity. I must say, please be careful when going with children if you want to climb to the top of the tower for there are metal ladders inside and they're quite dangerous. Do supervise children and pets at all times because there are edges around the place which are extremely dangerous. In addition, make sure you wear trecking shoes, a hat and bring plenty of water with you if you go there in the next months. All in all, it's worth the time if you are careful. Ahhhhh and enjoy the outstanding views of...

It took us about an hour to go up from the parking lot. We took a foot trail that branched off the road to the left about 100 meters above the parking lot (which is free). We were four adults and two girls ages 12 and 8. The metal ladders leading to the top of the tower are very secure, though climbing straight up can seem a bit scary.
