First of all have to say that this place is beautiful, though I have a bit mixed feeling about it. We stopped here spontaneously In the end of Sept , the place was quite dead - very peaceful and empty, only workers were there busy with the harvest . We found one of the owner working on the last harvest, quite busy. He was very friendly and despite the work we was in the middle of we approached us and greater us. We asked if they are open and if there is any tour of vine tasting or if we should come another time , but he said that as it is out of season and they are without guests, currently they do not have tours but he kindly offered us to sit and have a glass of vine in the garden which we happily accepted. We were not offered the menu nor requested more than one wine to try. He was super kind and explained us many things s about their history and vine production. Everything was quite informal and spontaneous but it was pleasant. He came with a half open bottle saying that he d need to return it quickly as they have someone else that might need it. We got a glass of that vine that from their production. After some time he came with another one half open bottle and offering wine from it , saying that this is what he had opened. We tried that wine also and also got some small bread bites on the plate. Again quite spontaneous and he said that is all what they have in the kitchen. We asked for white wine, but he said they did not have it left so we did not get any. We still did not see the menu at that time neither we knew we are having wine tasting. My husband and me agreed to buy two bottles of wine as we felt that the owner was very kind and probably would be nice that we buy something from them too. At the end we were supposed to paid we were said that we should pay 15euros per person for wine tasting at the garden ( on our surprise!) and of course for the wine we bought , which we already were ready to pay. Felt kind of bad after all, as we were sad that we are welcome to have a glass of wine in the garden , wine tasting was never mentioned during our visit until we were suppose to leave, which did not feel right. Probably our mistake was that we did not ask from the begging for the menu to understand what we are taking and what we would pay at the end of visit . But we tooo it for granted that is was a glass of wine as we were said on the beginning. Like this it felt weird as the visit was very informal and spontaneous we were offered the wine that they have opened , even though we got more than a glass for sure and some snacks but still to be charged for a wine tasting felt wrong . ( even though we were charged 15euros pp instead 18euros) . The owner was super kind during the visit undoubtedly, but the final requested payment distroyed the pleasant feeling we had during our stay, which is quite...
