A must do if you are in this area.

Beautiful landscape from the mountains but also from Cullera.

Bring difenitly good shoes and lots of water. On a sunny day don't forget the sun cream or you'll burn like us 😅.

At the entrance there is a garde who told us the place is open until 20h however there is no entrance fee so bringing him a cold beer or something would be nice.

Great view of Cullera to the east and the mountains to the west. Take into account that it takes 40 minutes walking from the parking area and the last 500m are a bit more demanding: small paths between plants and rocks, some turns and climbs over rocks, but all is properly indicated. Duración de la ruta: 1 horas y media, contando con la vuelta.

Elige - 3,1 km. - 1 h. Desnivel: 545 m. Dificultad: Baja - Señalizada Época: primavera, verano, otoño, invierno Sendero homologado.

El itinerario que proponemos consiste en la ascensión a la cima más representativa de todos cuantos cierran en el Valle de la Murta: la Creu del Cardenal (545 m). El itinerario se inicia e el Puente de Felipe II. Subimos por la pista forestal hasta llegar a una bifurcación, donde giraremos a la derecha. Más arriba llegaremos a una senda que nace a la izquierda, que nos indica el camino de subida a la cima. Seguimos la senda y al llegar al collado encontramos el enlace con el sendero PR-CV 335.
