I wanna start by saying it’s VERY beautiful here! Nothing wrong with the nature, we enjoyed swimming in the river and the waterfalls are really nice! But there are some downsides. There are no bathrooms, the route to go to the waterfall is NOT indicated, so we were lost at first. We came by uber/ taxi, but watch out! You can’t call a taxi to go back to where you came from! We had to walk to a nearby town first, then we had to wait 1,5 hours to wait for a bus, and from there we had to go with either train or try and get another taxi (which was also almost impossible) so please, go with a car or rent one!!! Person at the front of the entrance for the waterfall was nice and help-full though.

Beautiful place to hike! You can swim if you want to also! The water was a bit cold, but crystal clear! Some of the trails are a bit slippery so definitely wear proper shoes (tennis shoes(trainers) or hiking boots)! Also the trails are a rocky as well and require you to climb up and down "rock formations". Getting to the trails to get to the waterfall requires you taking the road to the left instead of the right walking out of the parking lot! We had a lot of fun would definitely recommend! Especially for any hiking enthusiasts out there!

Thoroughly enchanting hike of very moderate difficulty. The trail follows along the river passing by several small waterfalls and emerging springs. You can swim in several areas so either bring swim attire, quick dry hiking clothes or go natural. Refreshing in Spring through late fall. Only 1 hour from Alicante by car. Makes a great day hike. Bring snacks and/or a picnic for a truly relaxing day. Alternatively, tuck into a cafe in the town after the hike to enjoy a wine or beer and tapas... or more.
