Enjoyed my round at Salinas far more than I expected to. Reviews and first impressions led me to believe I’d have a better experience over the road at Fuerteventura Golf Club, but it turned out to be the opposite. Salinas is the more enjoyable course, that fits better with the surroundings. I liked the black sand/gravel areas with their boulders and cactuses - it felt more natural than patchy grassy areas that aren’t properly maintained. I loved 11 - a dogleg right par 4 with a driveable green over water, 13 - a great par 5, and 14 - a lovely par 3 with water in play. Yes the course could do with some investment in the surroundings, the Salinas development as a whole, club shop/karts, range (the netting wasn’t fixed down and the mats need replacing), the pins (flags are fraying). It was also a shame to see a couple of the lakes near empty.

Nice golf Course that’s fun to play but needs some work. The course has a nice Hole design and has a beautiful view onto the Ocean. Unfortunately the course isn’t too well maintained which of cause has something to do with Covid19. There is almost no water in the lakes and the fairway has some dry spots. The fairways are thin and therefore difficult to play since there’s often no Rough (only rocky areas). The nets protecting the Holes from the driving range are heavily damaged and therefore useless. A huge plus is that there are not as many people playing like in the Fuerteventura Club which makes it way more fun since the pressure isn’t too big since there’s no hurry. I can recommend the Course, it’s fun to play.

This is a beautiful golf course we'll maintained under the circumstances of covid and the lack of water as the golf courses depend on the waste water from the hotels to water the golf courses which is treated first The area around the greens is very well maintained and beautiful to chip from really enjoyed the golf course Was disappointed we could not get something to eat before we started our round of golf as the restaurant dose not open until 12noon But when we came in after our round of golf the staff and the food was excellent Will definitely be back Also was delighted to meet Mickey walker LPGA and Sky sports analysts an absolute Lady

We're just back home from a weeks golf in Fuerteventura. I don't see why some of the reviews of the Salinas course are negative, especially when compared to the Fuerteventura course, which is now a shadow of a course with 5 holes severely shortened for the men, while considerably more expensive to play. Okay, the course is going through tough times, but I love it. The lakes may be dry, but you still have to hit top quality shots if you don't want to lose balls. Every shot demands concentration and a pure hit; if not, it's into the ball pocket to reload. If more people would give the course a go, they would have more revenue to reinvest into it. Also, it would help if the tour operators diverted some of their clients to Salinas. My home course is Carnoustie and I have a handicap of 10, so I think I know a course that is a decent challenge for the very reasonable green fee. Give it a go. I love the course and can't wait to go back next year - for...

VILLA 100 – MAY 2019 We stayed for one week as a family of four. On arrival at our villa, we was overjoyed at the space the décor and the view which was exceptional. No expense spared on furniture we found everything in working order and plenty of cutlery glasses plates. (Having read other review stating that there wasn’t enough cutlery etc ). We have had a wonderful holiday at Villas Salinas Golf & Beach and would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely return hear again soon. Fresh towels delivered mid week also which was a added bonus. We have said that there is nothing we can find fault in at all. A must visit for anyone staying at these Villas is the Golf Club bar/restaurant the food is on point and so is the welcome and friendliness...
