The tower is located along the scenic Ma-10 road, which runs along the northwest coast of Mallorca. If you are driving from Palma, the journey takes about 40 minutes and offers stunning coastal views along the way. There is a small parking area near the tower where you can leave your car. From the parking area, a short but slightly steep walk leads you to the tower. The path is well-maintained and offers several spots to stop and admire the views along the way, so comfortable footwear is recommended.

The tower is free to visit, and while it may be small, it packs a punch in terms of the experience it offers. There's something incredibly peaceful and almost meditative about standing on this ancient tower, feeling the sea breeze, and taking in the natural beauty that...

Beautiful view... Worth the visit. But if you're trying to catch the sunset, waited patiently for it and give every new person that arrives after you space so that they can snap their photos you'll end up losing your original spot as they don't understand you were just being polite in the first place so that they can take their photos. Ooooooooh no... they remain in your original spot thinking you don't want to see anything and when you ask them to kindly move so you too can take more photos as the sun gives different light effects on the mountains as it sets, you get nothing... Just some Spanish jibberish and a screwd up face. My opinion, people are not so considerate on this...

extensive guardian towers around the island are relly super to see. Mallorca saw an increased amount of pirate attacks from north Africa and the Ottoman empire. The pirates would cruise in the waters around Mallorca, making camps on the small islands off the coastline, making them a constant threat. The tower wasn’t guarded professional soldiers, it was average land workers taking shifts. Torre del Verger did not have a battery, as it was solely meant as a watch tower. When the guards saw a ship in the sea, the lit a fire and raised a flag. This way, all towers communicated with one another, until the signal reach the major urban areas who could mobilize an army...

Worth visiting! Try to come as early as possible if you’re driving, as the road leading to the mountain was closed later in the day when we were leaving. Also, beware of thieves. €300 was stolen from a backpack left in the trunk of my car. I suspect they used a jammer or signal replicator to block or mimic the car’s locking signal, as when I returned, the car was unlocked and the alarm was off. Stay alert. There were a few suspicious guys standing at separate spots, focusing on tourists rather than enjoying the view - I guess they were communicating people’s movements and whereabouts.
