We arrived almost by accident (we were exploring the area) without reservation. We bought tickets for the next tour and we were waiting in the bar in the meantime. Our 3-years-old daughter started playing around, and the staff was all smiles and giggles. They even called her to show her a little frog that was standing outside.

The visit to the caves is relatively short for the price, but our guide, Anna, was very knowledgeable and perfectly happy to go off-script to answer all our questions (I recommend asking to have her as a guide if possible, given some of the comments in here about unfriendly staff - we're definitely pleased with our guide).

Now a quick note about the caves being or not toddler friendly. These are extremely rare, protected, almost artistic natural formations. They have to be preserved and taken care of for many generations to come. You wouldn't let a toddler run around a museum touching the paintings and licking the sculptures, why would you allow it here? We visited the caves with our 3-years-old daughter and everything was perfectly fine. Yes, we had to keep an extra eye on her for her not to touch anything. Yes, we were taking pictures with her and showing her the results to keep her distracted every now and then. Yes, we were carrying her in our arms if she wanted to go rogue. All pretty much standard parent skillset. If you think you can do the same, then the caves are toddler friendly. If you don't, then...

A very beautiful cave and different than others. You visit 2 of 6 caves. They are not very big but very beautiful. I bought ticket before entry and it was fine, but check the entry times as they change during the year. A small strange thing for me was, when I visited, the group was about 10-15 people and we all were foreign who did not speak Catalan, despite this they did the whole tour in catalan and didn't want to do anything in English as most people would understand better. Anyway no idea what was going on, maybe the person who does it in English wasn't there. Anyway it is...

We made reservations in advance but the meetup instruction was not mentioned - i then need to email them to ask and was told to drive to the carpark to meetup We drove to the carpark but see no one, only to learn later that we still need to walk up the path to see a small house (it's not immediately visible from the carpark) which they will lead you into the caves The tour lasts 45 mins, cover 2 caves, and because of the unclear instructions we missed the first half :( the second is still spectacular though, give it a try!

The caves are simply amazing. When you arrive there is plenty of parking spaces. Before coming to see the caves, you have to make reservation I don’t think you’ll be able to buy tickets on the spot, as it can get busy. When you go on a tour you will see two caves and only in one you are allowed to take pictures. The tour lasts around 45 minutes. The guide was really helpful, although English wasn’t perfect, we understood almost everything. The caves are beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
