British family on holidays, we were looking for some outdoors adventures whilst staying alicante. We used Grieta Aventura twice, for via ferrata and for Water Canyoning. Me and my 2 kids (13 &15) had a fantastic time for both, but the water canyoning at Mela, was unbelievable!! I arranged both activities months in advance and received plenty of email communications since the water canyoning, is very weather dependent. You have to arrange for an international bank transfer of a small deposit of 10euro pp. What is the best thing is that the instructors bring a go-pro and share all the photos and videos with you at the end of the day allowing you to concentrate on enjoying the experience. The activity duration of around 2-3 hours, and the routes chosen were perfect for me and the kids who were complete beginners. Paco and Jose were exceptionally professional and welcoming guides, especially for kids. I trusted them completely and so will you. Fully...

José was our guide and he did a really well guided kayak session. Pointing out bits of history of the cliffs and the local names for each part making sure we saw the dinosaur and elephant and the “Eye” with facts about how the cliffs were once climbed down and fished. We then had a snorkel to see some fish in the cove, then a trip to climb in the caves learning about all the different rock formations and cave structures. Really knowledgeable and interesting for both kids 10,14yrs and parents. Great session, not too physically demanding and...
Read moreWe had a very exciting day with our Grieta Aventure guide Jaime and Paco. They are professional and very friendly/patient with their customers.
We had a 30 minute walk uphill to the starting point which is the most intensive part. The climb just requires a bit of strenght. If you need a break during the climb you can just secure a extra carabine and hang back to enjoy the view.
After the climb you walk down to a point where you go abseiling 20 and 30 meters. Very fun to do!
During all this they make pictures and tell something about the area or vegitation.
I recommend everyone to book this...
