Stunning views and well worth a visit, it is a Mirador off a mountain pass, where you can see a once massage volcano that has collapsed to leave a mountainous terrain. The weather there is stunning and chipmunks run through the rocks, definitely use this road again, as there are lots of wonderful views and not to busy out of the hustle and bustle of the towns. There is also a hommage to motorcyclist who have lost there lives on these roads, being bikers I took a photo.

This road links on to the other side of the island where it is more peaceful, we were off to the caves of Ajoy whilst on our adventures 🇪🇸😊

Great viewpoint with wide-open views over the barren, dramatic landscape of central Fuerteventura. There’s plenty of space to park, and it’s a quiet location compared to the more touristy spots. You can walk along the mountain ridge for better panoramas and some peaceful solitude. Unfortunately, some visitors feed the squirrels, which isn’t great for wildlife or safety. Still, it’s a scenic stop worth including on a drive through the...

Uno de los mejores miradores de la isla. Situado a unos 426 metros de altitud en la Degollada de los Granadillos, zona perteneciente al Parque Rural de Betancuria,y desde donde se obtienen unas vistas únicas de una de las áreas más hermosas e intesantes de isla. Al frente se divisa el azul del Océano Atlántico y la Montaña de Atalayeja o de la Teta que es uno de los volcanes más antiguos de la región, con muestras de una colada de lava en su cima. También se puede ver el Risco de las Peñitas, con sus espectaculares rocas plutónicas de tipo sienitas con afloramiento circular, dándonos la sensación de estar en un museo de piedras. Al Oeste está el Valle de Fénduca que desemboca en el Barranco de Mal Paso, y donde hay terrazas de cultivos de gran antiguedad, todos ellos rodeados de una preciosa cordillera de montañas. Al Este se aprecia el Valle de los Granadillos, con sus increibles rocas volcánicas y plutónicas. Además de ser una zona donde habitan gran variedad de especies protegidas de...
