Beautiful place to visit! Great view and the panoramic view is spectacular. A cliff, rocks, blue waters, small sandy areas, caves. Beautiful. You can go down there and go i to the small caves. My experience was that it was too crowded for a small area, not at it's most cleanest moment I would think. Cala En Baster è situata lungo il litorale a nord di Formentera, tra le spiaggette di Racó des Cans e Platja de Tramuntana, a circa due chilometri dal centro urbano di Sant Ferran de ses Roques. Le sue bellissime acque sono racchiuse da scogli posti all’interno di una fascia di alte e ripide formazioni rocciose disposte a ferro di cavallo, dalla cui sommità si può godere di una bella veduta sulla baia.

Cala en Baster è di rado molto affollata, ed è meta frequente di nudisti. Il mare – assolutamente limpido e di uno splendido color turchese – ha un fondale costellato anch’esso da scogli nelle immediate vicinanze della riva, per poi dar luogo alla sabbia man mano che ci si allontana dalle rocce; è pertanto richiesta una certa attenzione nello scendere in acqua.

La caletta si presta bene all’ancoraggio di barche di piccole dimensioni; in caso di forti venti provenienti da nord, può talvolta risultare sconsigliabile la balneazione per condizioni pericolose del mare (bandiera rossa).

Non essendo dotata di lidi e di punti di ristoro, Cala en Baster è poco adatta a chi cerca un luogo con un minimo di comodità o servizi. Tuttavia, il luogo è particolarmente amato per la sua incontaminata bellezza: un paesaggio suggestivo di aspre falesie che si schiudono a formare un’insenatura dalle acque...

Amazing "calla" since the view from the top until the calla it self. Be careful if you don't have a strong and easy mobility. It is not recommended for people with less physical capacity. Also, there is no sand only rocks and with irregular shape so easy to fall going in or out of the water. Access is easy but not on the way. Worst case, it is worth the visit from the top where you can stop the car...
