We went on the Segura River canyon rafting tour whilst holidaying in Murcia. After enquiring via WhatsApp they were responsive, informative, friendly with brilliant English. We were worried as we are English speakers with very basic knowledge of Spanish phrases. That wasn't a problem though as they have dedicated English speaking tour guides. Ishmael got in touch with us, explained the process of driving to a meeting place and then being taken via minibus to the start of the raft tour.

My partner has a disability whereby she uses sticks to walk, this wasn't an issue either, the tour guides were so helpful in getting us onto the raft, off the raft to swim and back on again. Honestly one of the best experiences of doing an activity we've experienced. Could not...

Rafting down the canyon was fantastic for all three of us. It certainly wasn't rushed hence value for money was excellent. Initial safety instructions and equipment was well rehearsed and everything was clear. The sights we experienced were very new to us and the water splash fights between two rafts with the oars was great fun. everyone ended up wet through, which was welcome with the 30°C temperatures. In between the downstream paddling and splashing we were taken to see the ancient cave paintings. After this long evening rafting we were all invited to a party although disappointingly we couldn't stay as we had a long drive back to our resort. Had the best time rafting down the Segura river with these guys today. Excellent guides who care passionately about the natural environment and archaeology of the area. I am an Archaeologist and loved seeing the amazing cave art. We were informed and entertained in equal measure. Learned a great deal about Otters! The trip was well organised and managed, with life jackets and helmets provided. Just ensure that you wear canoe shoes (or similar) as your feet WILL get wet and suitable clothing. Communication and updates were excellent. Trips last about approximately 3 hours. You can go for a swim in the river during the trip too. Beautiful scenery and a great bunch of people.
