We bought tickets online. Website is not easy to navigate for non Spanish speakers as it only translates some of the information. We arrived to the location and we saw employee locking the door of her office shed so we quickly paid the taxi driver 30 Euros for the trip from Santander and before we managed to leave the taxi she was already gone. The employee saw us as we parked in front of her booth, and still decided to leave, we arrived on time. No other people/employees were around and no instructions about where the cave is located. We waited over an hour to be told by the very same employee that we have missed our slot and we can't join next slot so we had a choice to walk 20 mins to catch 2 buses to get back to Santander or book another taxi and spend another 30 Euros. Our Spanish friend politely explained to the employee what happened and we were shown absolutely no compassion of understanding. Instead we were ignored and disregarded completely with no working alternative provided. We decided to leave. Poor customer service managed by 1 person. Waste of...

However, I would have appreciated a heads-up about bringing a coat. Unfortunately, we were only warned to put on our coats at the cave entrance, which is quite a walk from the parking area. By then, it was too late to return to my car to fetch one. As a result, I entered the cave without my coat and found it very cold, which eventually made me feel unwell.
It would be helpful if they could mention this earlier, either during the booking process or when collecting tickets at the ticket office. Just a simple reminder would go a long way in ensuring everyone is prepared for the temperature inside the cave.
Despite this, I still highly recommend the tour – just make sure you...
