We almost missed out on this extraordinary visit but it popped up on trip advisor just hours before we were due to fly out. This is not your regular tourist trip which appealed to us. It's very much a working farm and it's easier to get there in your own vehicle or share with someone else as I'm not sure if coaches ever do this trip. It certainly wouldn't be easy with a hoard of say 30 people there but if you went on an organised visit they would undoubtedly cope. The host/owner of the farm is very passionate about his subject and you could spend hours listening to all his knowledge, which he imparts with an entertaining style. We were visiting at the same time as a lovely family with four children of mixed ages, all of whom were as fascinated as the adults. We were encouraged to understand how amazing the birds are before being tutored in the best methods of feeding them. You can feed them from your hand, with the gloves provided or without. You can use bowls or spoons provided if you prefer. First you meet the adult birds, then you move on to visit the little ones where you can actually sit in the enclosure with the baby birds. The young birds are fascinated by shoelaces and anything that dangles or trails so you need to be aware. After that you can go into the shop and look at the amazing range of products derived from Ostriches, from shoes and bags to lamps and birdhouses as well as ostrich oil! I'm not sure if there is anywhere else you can go and feed live ostriches but if you're at all intrigued then don't hesitate and add it to your...

We visited the farm on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Location wise it’s in the middle of nowhere but not hard to find through Google maps. You need a car to get here.

Entry: 15Euro per person Feeding bowl: 5 Euros

The visit is worth for the knowledge and experience of interacting with the birds. It is a family run farm who care and take good care of the birds. Your helps them take care of these birds and their costs. The owner Uri is passionate About the birds and it shows. If you ask questions they are happy to tell you even more.

I enjoyed learning about the birds through the audio guides and watching them. At the moment it is mating season so it’s very interesting to see them dance. I recommend this if you have kids or even if you have some curiosity for animals and birds. Jambo Is one of the ostriches that is roaming around freely and loves interacting with humans. He is such a good photo shoot .

They Also have a cafe. You can order an ostrich egg for 4 people for 56 euros. They also have good drinks and coffee. I recommend having a nice drink and watching...

This is a must see! The birds by them self are super funny! Staff is great; real ostrich lovers. It is a family business and they are real serious about it. It’s amazing how much they can and will tell you about these big birds. There is also a nice interactiv program that gives a lot of information. The birds have a lot off space, more then enough food, don’t feel sorry for them, they look happy. Pay a visit to the gift shop: amazing nice (ostrich) products! Especialy for kids this is a very nice experiance they will not forget, they will forget all the days on the beach, but not this. And please buy the ostrich food at the entrance, it’s €5 but makes a lot of fun, you realy get to know the birds better! About the price: some people think it’s to high, but remember, it’s these people their living. There are about 50 birds that eat, and need to be taken care of every day. Just pay and have fun.

During our holiday in Mallorca, my family and I had the joy of visiting Artestruz – and what an unforgettable experience it was! ✨ From the very beginning, everything felt filled with warmth, care, and genuine passion. We learned so much about ostriches in a way that was both fun and fascinating, and feeding them quickly became a memory we’ll always cherish as a family. On a spontaneous note, we decided to stay for a meal – and we are so grateful we did. The food was not only delicious but clearly prepared and served with love. Every detail, from the setting to the hospitality, radiated heart and dedication. A heartfelt thank you to Ohad and Jonathan for creating such a special moment for us. Even now, we still find ourselves talking fondly about our visit and about you. Wishing you all the best, with gratitude and warm regards. ❤️

We had a wonderful time. Very welcoming family run business. You notice their passion for the ostriches with every word. We asked tons of questions and they really took their time to explain everything. You can also watch videos with a lot of interesting information! We really learned a lot! You get really close to these beautiful animals and even have the chance to feed them. On site is a beautiful little boutique with some very cool stuff and we had some beers and hummus on their terrace, overseeing the ostriches at the end of our visit. This was certainly not the last time we visited. I can really recommend this to any animal lover. ❤️ For me the most important thing is always that the animals are kept well and here I really had the feeling that all of them feel happy and healthy. We truly loved it.
