Firstly I would like to say that we had a brilliant day minus a few tweaks, bus arrived at the right time 10am from the campsite the driver put our receipt in his pocket by accedent and when asking for it back he couldn't speak English we had to get translation on the phone to communicate, we got to reception and staff were polite and also spoke good English and was very helpful. After a few slide we went for food and explained everything we wanted 1 chicken nuggets and chips 1 burger and chips (kids meals) 3 cheese bugers and chips and 1 chicken burger and chips.... We waited almost an hour and no other customers around but then finally he brought over 4 cheese burger and one of which had no bun and also no chicken burger and no children's meal after him telling us he will be right back with the children's meals 20 minute later he arrived with 2 chicken nugget meals so 1 goes back and then takes a further 20 minute to wait for the next meal by this point the children are restless and hungry when confronting the guy he automatically went in to Spanish mode and all of a sudden couldn't speak English hmmm... when the kids burger meal arrived it arrive crimated and was not edable so we ended up leaving... staff who were operating the rides were also nice and friendly and interacted with the children and also... as the day went on and it was time to leave we went into the gift where we was told to put our bags on the shelf at the door my wife had to put her purse on the shelf other she would have had to stand outside after this we was stood in the sun for at least 30 mins after speaking with reception about our lift she advised that they would be on there way when they were already parked up in the car park. After he got In the bus moved it forward for us all to get in he then left the bus with the engine running no Windows open, no air conditioning for at least 15 min until my daughter had to get out and tell the reception staff to translate that there was a 3 and 4 year old in a hot car and that they started to feel unwell he took us back straight away ... other than these few problems the day was brill :) but I will not be...
Read moreI visited this park yesterday with my daughter, she is 10. I have been in Aquadiver so many times as i used to live in an near by town whn i was a child. I have the best memories there and now my daughter has too. We enjoyed our day there, but,,,
The parking,,,,it offers 3 or 4 different carparks, one of them is free but there was nobody there to open gates, to tell us they were full, so you just wait for 5 min hoping to see somebody until moving on to the next one.
The water in some pools,,,, ehn you get on a slide, they have like a pool at the end ,some are smaller than others, the small ones have very disgusting water, it smelled like clouring of course, but they smell like dirt too. Like the same water stays there for who knows how long,it looked a bit yuky,,,and i am not a super freak about cleaning but the smell,,,,
We didnt have to wait long for the rides, literally in the morning as we arrived we did like 10 or 13 slides in 1 hour. Slides are nice and good for a family with kids, not a huge water park but nice enough to have fun as a family.
Picnic area is nice, you can walk in with packed lunch and snacks and enough drinks for the day if you carry a little cold bag, we did so and had cold drinks through the day without havinng to spend 3.50 € in a cold drink. Staff was always friendly, very young kids but it was nice and we felt like they were organized and polite.
I paid the entry plus 15€ for a second day in Water World in Lloret de Mar which we will visit tomorrow. Its a good bargain really, a bit more than 100€ for the 2 of us for 2 days,
The 3 stars is beacuse of the not very clean water and the carpark issue. Still. We will be back, love Platja d'Aro...
Read moreWe went there with our 22month old. Parking is free and they weren’t to busy that day. Sounds good so far. Once we were on the entry we figured out that the park charges by height and not by age so we had to pay 20€ for him, because he is taller than 80cm. So this gets you to a total of 90€ just entry (35 per adult 20 for a 80-120cm). In addition, if you want a locker it cost you between 5-8€ plus 3€ deposit (wich you could exchange later into a shirt or a trash bag). When your inside you start realizing that there is only one pool your toddler can go wich has two tiny slides and three, let’s say “bigger” slides (about 3-5 meters in length with not enough water to make a child constantly slide), then you figure out only one of those slides you can go on with him. so you try the wave pool since the entry of it is really shallow and you think that’s a great idea for you and your toddler but then you find out that a 1 meter wide strip of tiles on the edge of the water where you are when you have a toddler are having a special surprise of being the only extra slippery no profile tiles in the whole pool. After you hear that charming noise of your toddlers back wacking on those tiles followed by a short knocking noise of his head you decide to go back to that one and only pool you can go with him. So after spending the whole day in the pee pit of a thousand children that has about as much shade to offer as the Sahara desert you leave the place and go to your car where the nice creepy staff guy placed a sticker on your back window without asking in the hope you would advertise this “great” experience for free to the...
