Nacimiento del Río San Juan — Attraction in Castillo de Locubín

I have been here a couple of times before, it is an outstanding place of natural beauty, so calm and tranquil, but today it has dropped 2 stars for me. It lost one star as the gates to the car park was locked and the cafe was closed, which was a shame as it would have been nice to get at least a drink after travelling so far, it is listed as open, yes you can access the gardens via a walk through gate but it leaves limited parking with the car park gate closed. I dropped the second star due to the litter bins being full to overflowing with rubbish, some of which had made its way into the crystal clear water 😡 That said it is a beautiful place to visit, but the road gets very tight, maybe I will try again next year but I think the cafe/bar owners need to publish...

Maravilloso rincón de la Naturaleza con un nacimiento de un rio fresquito, muy fresquito y con la particularidad demanar burbujas (muchas) que sorprenden gratamente en las piscinas naturales. El entorno con sus puentes, vallados, pasarelas bancos y merenderos, ideales para pasar un dia maravilloso en un espacio natural envidiable. Hoy 1 de Septiembre de 2024 el aparcamiento estaba cerrado a pesar de estar dentro personal que estaba limpiando el bar y que de forma algo grosera nos ha conminado a sacar el coche que previamente habíamos aparcado porque la puerta era practicable. No hemos encontrado aseos, lavabos ni urinario ni water donde la gente pueda satisfacer sus necesidades fisiológicas de evacuación lo que justifica la cantidad de basura que se acumula en todo el alrededor del entorno y que provoca una.muy desagradable sensación de abandono por parte de los responsables de su mantenimiento, a los que suplico tengan en cuenta mi queja para embellecer más ese rincón prodigio de la naturaleza. ! Only a 5 min drive from our house. A gem of a place. It's so picturesque. You enter the water at your peril. It's what you call "fresh" but it leaves you revitalised. It also has a bar area serving lovely cild cerveza and a really good menu which doesn't disappoint. If you have an afternoon spare, we'll worth it. AND...
