As with a couple of the natural pools or more secluded beaches on Tenerife or the Canary Islands in general, be a grown up and drive resonsibly and think ahead. Or you’ll get to be the one backing up a lot since there are few spots to pass each other. I am always amazed at what currents people deem swimming and snorkeling safe I abstained on my day to get into the bigger pool while dads with their kids swam way out. Maybe I just avoid calculable risks. When in doubt of rip tides don’t do it. The one on the left was manageable and I was able to have some clear views while snorkeling and enjoy the fish. The parking space can easily host 15-20 cars and there are also waste bins. Bring swim shoes or diving shoes you‘ll need them. The water and the charco is truly superb and worth a...

Amazing Place – Charco del Viento, Spain

I visited Charco del Viento and was absolutely amazed! This is one of the most beautiful natural spots I’ve ever seen. The place offers crystal-clear waters, rocky formations, and a peaceful atmosphere that lets you escape from everyday life.

It’s perfect for swimming and a dream location for nature photography enthusiasts. The scenery is simply breathtaking – a combination of volcanic rocks, ocean waves, and pristine nature.

If you’re in Tenerife, don’t miss the chance to visit. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking on the rocks and don’t forget your camera. This is a true paradise for nature lovers!

Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be...

Wonderful charco. Great for snorkling too. But be beware of the tides, waves as well as the stones and rocks underwater. The use of rubber slippers and a medium tide is recommended to have an easier entry. (No solid entry ladder provided, therefore...

For us it was not ideal. The last 2km drive a bit too narrow. Water level rather low, not sure if reaching more than 1-1,5m. I would recomend a swiming shoes. We did not swim and also I have not seen anyone to swim. People came and left within 5-10min.

Really nice beach/ natural pool and ponds formed by the ocean, good for snorkeling. There are no showers or toilets. There are about 15 free parking spots at the end of the road. There is only one lane read from the main road to the beach.
