One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We found this place very randomly the day before coming here yesterday. We were absolutely stunned! Very beautiful walk/hike in this beautiful canyon of the hermits. The history behind this magnificent place is impressive. Very easy to access with a good variety of parking spots near the entrance of the walk/hike. In front of the place you will also find a caravan parking spot.
The walk is really easy for everyone. Families, kids and fit elderly people. I wouldn’t recommend embarking on this little but extraordinary adventure in the hottest hours of the day, but if you do please use hats and bring enough water. You can have a dip into the very cold waters of the river cutting through the canyon BUT do not litter and always leave the place as you found it, CLEAN! This place is a heritage for all of us and we must preserve it as many people have been doing. We found the place very pristine and clean. At the end of the canyon you will have a final optional stretch to get up to the lake enclosed in the dam system retaining majority of the water.
