Sotama Visitor Center — Attraction in Cillorigo de Liébana

For a free place, it offers a lot of información in the wild life you can find in the national park of Picos de Europa. It also shows the different mountains and how high they are. Finally the exposition centers on the history of the different settlements. However a lot of interactive parts were broken and some exhibits closed. This visitor centre has excellent displays of the natural history and culture of the Picos de Europa. The thought that has gone into the displays as well as the building itself is very good. A lot of the information is translated to English. My one reservation is that it's looking a little tired and unloved. It's definitely worth a visit...

Fantastic experience. Surprisingly it’s all for free. The whole place is wheelchair friendly, everything on the displays are written in Spanish and English.
