Absolutely impressing - these guys explain the sky with lots of knowledge and passion. We had three hours of watching the planets in the observatorium and with lots information; a practical demonstration by installing and explaining a telescope and comparing the views of the planets by different telescopes - but not only this, we got beautiful high quality handouts about the night sky, learned a lot about comets and asteroides, took photos and now have good advises for apps and links to go on with this fascinating favourite.

Their explanations made the astronomical things lively and exciting to us and personally we think, their work should be lots better honorated and supported by government - as this observatori, with these guys, can give an important contribution on investigation.

There might be 'bigger' planetariums whereelse, but you won't get the events on nightly sky personally and such detailly explained - this makes this place really unique!

Thank you very much for this beautiful and very...

Spectacular. It was slightly expensive (Spanish speakers pay slightly less but for English it is 15€/person) but the staff are all dedicated volunteers and the money goes towards keeping the facility open. What they occasionally lack in English language abilities they easily overcome with raw passion and knowledge - feel free to ask away and they will answer your questions. Expect to enjoy a small lecture (interesting, I promise!), to use the telescope and to go inside for a 3D cinema experience. Something very different and a great thing to try if you have visitors or just want to try something new. Others had said it was hard to find but Google maps got us...

This is one of Mallorcas little known secrets! A fantastic surprise - very impressive movie in the dome and entertaining guides - with a star gazing finale :) exceptional value for money and well worth a visit. We had 5 kids age 5- 10 with us and all were entertained nicely....Would have been 5 stars if we had a little more star gazing included at the end - but as this is a non profit organisation they had to downscale this. We think they should be charging more and please spread the word of support and give it a try as it would be a pity for this fabulous fun and entertaining attraction to disappear...

This place is a little gem run by passionate people who are experts in the field but maybe lack some commercial skills. The guys organize sessions about different topics related to space followed by observing a projection of the sky, which is more interactive. It could be nice to have more audio-visual help for the first part, maybe a video or presentation. The tour ends by observing the sky via telescope, if the wheatear allows.

Very cool place. It is run by passionate volontiers who are very implicated in the whole thing. They make the experience even more interesting than it already is. Seeing the moon with the telescope is pretty incredible. My photo doesn't even come close to showing how cool it was. It was even ok for me to come with my puppy and the guides where very comprehensive.
