I do have vertigo but was able to access it. It's really pretty inside and feels like it was sculpted by humans. Walking there wasn't a problem although I'd avoid doing it with kids below 10, people identifying themselves as clumsy and untrained dogs only because right before entering the cave you have a small path against the rocks, slippery and (for me at least) regularly covered by the waves. On those 5 meters, you have no chains to hold and if you fall it's straight into the sea battering you against the rocks. Going with a kayaking group is actually safer, much easier and maybe even faster! You can enter inside so easily and park your kayak. During summer, you'll have to pay the entrance (maybe online and in advance as the cave can't accommodate 100s of people) and the path will be under the baking sun. Be careful of falling rocks. It's mentioned a few times. Although I'm never sure about what I should be doing if several rocks are coming my way 😁 I think in some places, for example where there's the second chain to descend towards the cave, some of the rocks over our head pose a threat and should be broken safely when nobody is here (it won't require...

It was quite an adventure to have made such a walk with small kids of 7 and 2 years old. It’s not impossible to make it with kids, but still fairly difficult. You have to wear comfortable shoes, have enough water, your swimming stuff and a torchlight (or a phone with enough battery) with you. You’ll surely enjoy the views from the path to the cave. There are lots of steep parts of the path, with lots of sharp stones. So I recommend you wear good quality shoes. If you choose to go with kids, you have to count on yourself. I had to carry my kids pretty most of the track. One of the drawback is a relative absence of signs and security barriers. The path is fairly dangerous in some places. The timing is also very important. It must be very hot to walk the distance in summer. We’ve done it in October and it’s been quite hot anyway. In general, the trip to the cave is quite a good experience to make when you...

Absolute MUST visit if you are in or around Denia! Can not understand how anyone could give this spot less than 5 stars! I beautiful walk from the parking spot of 30 to 60 minutes, depending how easy you take it. There are 4 Geocaches on the way you can pick up, one of them directly in the Cave. Take half a day if you really want to enjoy the environment and the scenery! The walk is quite steep at times and a bit challening but you don't need to be super fit. Good shoes are essential!! We went on 1st of January and even of season there where quite a number of people on their way, but not too crowded. During the season we heard it gets crowded. Take some water and a snack along the way, there are beautiful places to rest and...

The hike is beautiful and the cova tallada is something to see but : -It is not mentioned but you need to make a reservation online : the website is awful, only in Spanish and you need a passport number -The staff that tells you that you need a reservation is at the top of a uphill slope, where there is no signal, so you need to go all down the slope in order to have internet, then make a reservation and go up again … It would be way more simple if the staff was down hill or if they could just register the number of people in and out so you don’t need a reservation -When you reach the sign that says “cova tollada on the left” there is no more track and it is not easy to find the cova tallada
