A Priorat adventure...and it is worth it! After you leave the main road you travel for about 4 km on a narrow dirt road through various vineyards. You almost feel like you may be on the wrong road but our instructions from the winery were very clear...and google maps is useless in this area. The charming young woman whom we arranged our tour with, Laura Llavet, met us at the modest sized yellow-colored winery. What a terrific person she is: multi-lingual, outgoing and very knowledgeable of the wines and terrior of Clos Galena. Visiting this winery was one of the highlights of our visit to Spain this year. Bravo, Clos Galena and thank you, ...
Read moreIt was quite an adventure navigating to Clos Galena, but the journey was so worth it! This is a small winery with amazing views and a good story. Definitely our best and most enjoyable wine tasting and winery visit in Priorat. Marta was our host and she was absolutely wonderful! She is very passionate about her knowledge and experience, which really showed in her detailed descriptions of the wines and history of Clos Galena and the Priorat region as well. We tasted several wines, which were all very good. The wine tasting and visit is priced at 20 euros per person. Delicious wines and warm hospitality. Clos Galena is definitely...
