Beautiful scenic hike with amazing views from the top and the way up. Very difficult climb up so better to be fit, and a careful climb down as it's an isolated area and injury could make a difficult climb down almost impossible. Prepare for a steep climb up through different environments. Mostly straight forward trail to follow marked with paint on rocks but could be better marked... especially on the accent/decent to/from the top. Amazing views. Bring a lot of water and some snacks you will need them both and a couple of great rest stops to enjoy them in.

Beautiful cliffy peak. The hiking trail hard is right behind the parking lot 800m from the Monastery San Victorian. The trail however is not well marked or maintained. Follow the green white markings, as it shows you the best (relatively) marked path. You will need to struggle through a stone field left by glacier before reaching the peak. Make sure you have the right hiking boots and stamina.

Es una ruta larga y con un desnivel positivo que sobrepasa los 1.000 metros. Presenta dos puntos en los que es necesario prestar atención. Primero: la trepada de As Gotelleras. Segundo: tras la pradera de Os Plans, el recorrido se aproxima a una zona de pinar donde hay un gran mojón de piedras. El camino es el de la izquierda, el que baja. Nosotros nos equivocamos y tuvimos que deshacer el camino.

Eclipsat pels seus congèneres de més al nord, molts d'ells de més de 3000 m, la Peña montañesa queda potser en un segon terme. Res més lluny de la realitat. Són gairebé 2300 m de muntanya en estat pur, ple de racons, ple de paisatges, ple d'aquella sensació que trobem els muntanyencs que fa que no t'aturis per res. Hi he trobat ramats d'isards que no s'espanten massa, sorgències d'aigua al bell mig de camí, una flora variada, ... Encara no t'he convençut? No us la perdeu. I deixeu-la tal com l'heu...
