I didn't understand what I had to pay for at the entrance. The territory is not well-kept, there are cut down trees everywhere and all that is there is 20 signs next to the trees, 95% of which say "tree planted in 1911, died in 2022". There are no Californian redwoods there. Only dead ones. You can just as easily walk around any other part of the forest for free.

A very lovely place, cool and breezy under the trees, great for a meditative walk on a sunny day. The path itself is not a long one (~1km), but the variety of old trees is incredible. Cedars, sequoias, pines and more, beautiful. Pets are allowed, so it’s a nice spot for a walk with a dog! Simple and easy enough. €5 fee to enter per person.
