Mirador La Llanía — Attraction in Frontera

Although covered in clouds and very windy there was a clearing so one can appreciate the views of the coastline are amazing. Very rewarding too as it's on the walking route which was a fantastic experience. At 1350 metres above sea level you can appreciate the beautiful forest below and views of the whole of the northern part of the island on a clear day.

You really do feel you are in the clouds from here, a strange weather phenomenon with cooler lower trade winds hitting the coast below then rising to condense on contact...

One of the most beautiful Mirador of the island. The best place to appreciate the laurisilva, the path and hikes are breathtaking, and so well preserved! I must admit we were super lucky with the weather, this place, the hood around are a dream, you walk and you immediately think of some gorgeous movies and you expect to see some elves...

Amazing views. La llanía is the only adapted route so all the family can walk together on a hike. You can make it as long as you want on different circuits all of them very well indicated. Highly recommended as you can see all the contrasts of the island...
