So, let's start with what this place is not.
Strictly speaking, this is not aljibe, as aljibe is supposed to be a well with sweet water, when here the water is salty, because it's the ocean water, "filtered" through the sand dune.
This is not a thermal spring. The water is warmer because it mixes with the ocean water much slower.
The place is located not where the road sign "El Aljibe" is placed. Use "Playa Echentive/Playa Nueva" instead.
There are 3 fishes living in the big pool.
If you look closely, you might notice sea anemonies (4-5 cm in size).
If you want to swim there, wearing protective swimming shoes is highly recommended, as the lava around is very sharp.

Llegas al aparcamiento de la playa de Echentive a un lado de la carretera y bajas a la playa por unas escaleras de piedra bien acondicionadas, llegando abajo cojes el camino a la derecha y ya puedes apreciar la belleza del lugar con su primer charco. Mi recomendación seguir más adelante tendrás que pasar por rocas puntiagudas pero con buen calzado pasas fácilmente y accedes al segundo charco para mí super tranquilo y con un entorno demasiado bello. El agua está perfecta de temperatura y super limpia, a tener en cuenta que no hay sombra ni nada cerca para comprar agua o algo de comer, mejor llevarse algo, eso sí despues dejar todo igual de limpio porque es una belleza ese lugar.
