Read moreThis place is more the kind of place you visit to have been at the North-Westernmost point of Gran Canaria than coming for spectacular views. They do not exist. The lighthouse has been fixed up and painted recently. Otherwise there is nothing else exept a sand and stone covered slopes, low cliffs along the waterfront, and of course the sea. It seems some locals come here for fishing. The place is not far from nearby town Sardina. Even if you go there, I would not bother to go to the lighthouse unless you want to log it on your GPS. Make sure to wear good shoes, as this allows you to descend a bit from the lighthouse and really experience the beauty of the area, and the power of the sea! (Keep some distance from the water)
