Construction completed A.D 1664. Nuestra Señora de La Luz in Santo Domingo, Garafia was built under the supervision of famous XVII centuries Canarian architect Antonio de Orbarán, who worked personally as a joiner-contractor at the church altar as well. Main altar houses a wonderful sculpture depicts Virgen de La Luz dressed in green satin. Another church's antique is a green, clay baptismal font.
