Centro de Interpretacion del Megalitismo de Gorafe — Attraction in Gorafe

This visitors centre was a complete surprise! When you look at the size of the town and the entrance you´d be forgiven for underestimating it. This place is like a tardis … without giving too much away, there is loads of space to learn about the megalithic history of Gorafe using various visual aids. We were guided through our visit by Rocio, who clearly an expert, transmitted the information with passion.

Visiting the centre greatly enriched my visit to Gorafe and the Geoparque area, giving me a much deeper understanding of the rich history. Can´t wait to come back to this incredible...

Debería de informase más adecuadamente de que algunos recorridos (especialmente el de Majadillas) no son recomendables para hacer con niños, personas mayores o con movilidad reducida. La cartelería ha de ser repuesta (muchos carteles ni se leen) y sin embargo en el centro de interpretación se nota han dedicado muchos recursos en una tecnología "muy moderna" que a mí personalmente no me aportó demasiado. Por ejemplo la réplica del grabado de un chamán, encontrado en uno de los dólmenes, está arriconada en un lado de centro y ni siquiera se puede ver con nitidez debido a la tenue luz que tiene el sitio. Todo muy moderno y muy post pero bajo mi punto de vista poco didáctico. Y seguro que muy caro. El sitio de los petroglifos sencillamente no está señalizado y eso que es uno de los lugares más interesantes que he visitado con respecto a esta temática en España. Y he visitado unos cuantos. Y ni un miserable cartel o indicación que lo señalice y explique. Dimos por casualidad con un dolmen gigantesco casi completo, incluso tenía el túmulo, cerca del balneario. Y sin señalizar. Me pregunto cuanta cartelería explicativa se podría reponer con el aparato de proyección circular que hay en el centro que aporta muy poco ( y casi marea al verlo) No obstante, y dicho todo esto, el pueblo maravilloso y volvería porqué el patrimonio prehistórico del lugar es...

There's actually not much here, but the lady behind the counter was very helpful in terms of where to go find all the dolmen. In response to the owner reply. A bit of a misunderstanding.
