Ethnographic Museum Juan Évora — Attraction in Guía de Isora

We popped in here during day 2 of our visit to Tenerife. The previous day had been very tough for us and we were feeling a bit down and hopeless about the rest of our trip, so were looking for advice on some good places to visit within the park.

We spoke to the staff member here, Leticia, who was so enthusiastic and helpful about what we should see and do within the park. We ended up doing most of her recommendations throughout the week and completely turned our trip around. This was a wonderful museum of the native Guanches and the farming lifestyle that existed into the 1960’s. The restoration of old traditional buildings was beautifully done and the grounds are also restored in a traditional way. This is very much worth a stop and it doesn’t take a lot of time to see and absorb but it is well worth the effort....
