Some friends and I decided to hit up this casino for an intense blackjack session after being confined casinoless for 3 and a half months. We all live in Madrid, but decided to get a cabify all the way to the province of Toledo because this casino has live table games and the Madrid casinos disappointingly have only opened up electronic games thus far. To my releif, masks are obligatory to enter for now and they take your temperature before entering. Upon entering we each received a coupon for a free drink and a ticket for a drawing for an iPhone 11. All the casino staff we interacted with were very nice and professional. We received a couple drinks free, although I am adamant that drinks should always be free and unlimited to players, especially if they are betting 5-30 times the tables minimum bet. There were enough tables open for the very few visitors last friday evening and the blackjack tables only had three seats each, although you can also play standing up if there is no chair for you. The vibe was fine but maybe a bit too quiet, the music was way to low and I would recommend increasing the volume to create a more lively and fun atmosphere. In the end they didn’t announce a winner for the iPhone 11 so I wonder what happened with that or if they even gave it out, but the odds were not bad considering at 23:00 there maybe not have even been 50 players in the entire casino. As much as I enjoyed that night at the gran casino de La Mancha, Unless madrid casinos didn’t have table games, I don’t see a reason to return considering how inconvenient it is to get here and the fact they don’t really offer anything other casinos in Spain offer apart from a sic bo table. If they had a hotel and didn’t close at 3 in the morning and had craps tables...I would probably be here every weekend. Please consider offering free drinks to players, adding a craps table and increasing the volume of the music a bit. It is not Las Vegas, but for Spanish casino standards this is about as good as it gets, so I will give them the full 5 stars. —-A warning to people coming from Madrid—- We were able to order a cabify to get to this casino located in Illescas, Toledo, but the app said we were not in the service zone when we tried to get one back to Madrid at 3 in the morning. It took us an hour to find a taxi company that would drive us back, so we almost had to camp out at the...
