A few take aways I thought may be worth sharing for anyone due to go for the first time. (They are not in a particular order) I left today after visting friends at the resort for the last five days. 🚌 Ensure to wait for your tranfer pick up in the EXACT spot you were dropped. You do not get told this as alot of people wait where the taxis do their collection / drop offs. Don’t be like us and have to pay 200 euros for a taxi to the airport 😂 🥤Make sure you keep hold of your special little cups like your life depended on it. This is the most annoying part of the resort TBH, you will not even get a water without your cup, and the sneaky buggers on the resort like to steal them. 👮‍♂️ Talking of theft. So many stories go around there about items being stolen from rooms, I heard from 2 separate people in five days that they had been robbed and then they knew of others and others knew of others etc… seems a common thing, and if you look at google reviews / trip advisor, you will see it is a regular occurrence. 💩🤮 I feel this is more common than most reviews on here make out. You will get the shits and possibly throw up. Literally EVERYONE I have interacted with these past 5 days have been ill, everyone of the 12 people in our party had one or the other or both, twice someone a number 2 in the pool and again, almost every online review will reference this. I myself was so ill for 2 days that I could hardly move out of the lodge. 🍔 That brings me onto the food. I am going to throw it out-there, popular opinion or not. The food choice is dreadful, mostly undercooked and not for the British palette at all. To be the fair the staff do tell you this. The buffet isn’t great and I imagine 90% of the Delhi belly comes from this area of the resort. 🇪🇸 For anyone who has travelled extensively will know what I mean by this….this resort is for the Spanish people, think of it as the Uk’s Centre parks for the Spanish. The accommodation standards, the facilities, the food and everything in-between is aimed at Spanish The accommodation isn’t poor by any standard, but it isn’t up to standard by any stretch. However it is mostly clean. 💁‍♀️ The staff can be very rude, the reception staff are ok, very hit & miss. The cleaners are fairly pleasant. I had to pay a maid to clean our room as it hadn’t been done since arriving and they kept using the language barrier as defence. When raised with reception they were not bothered. 🐴 The medieval show is interesting, mostly spanish spoken but enjoyable. I would eat before you go as the menu isnt great. Worth a visit. 🚕 If you have children that require a car seat, be careful, you will really struggle to get a taxi. Taxi from resort to benidorm is around €14-€17 depending on how many passengers the car can carry (or at least I feel thats how it worked) If more than 5 of you, you will need 2 taxis as so hard to get a 6 seater. I know the above makes it sound mostly bad, but it is a nice place with some typical issues common of holiday destinations. The pools and slides were fun (although twice in a week someone poo in the pool and it was not removed) Would I return? No Would I recommend it? Not really Considering the prices for the stay I would expect alot better. And I wish I had seen the google / trip advisor reviews before booking as they are all true from what I have personally learnt this past week and I can only draw on my own personal experience. Dont go on the facebook group the admin only publish good reviews so you get the wrong idea. Oh and reporting issues to reception, even within 24hrs nothing gets done. I raised an issue about the toilet not being fixed to the floor within a few hours of arrival and nothing was done so their 24hr policy is crap. If anything it feels as though our room was boycotted by the cleaners due to me complaining and I had hears this similar experience from others. Hopefully the above helps and you enjoy your visit.

My family stayed here for 5 nights, and we had an okayish time. Some parts we really liked, and others we really hated. It was an adventure. Here were the pros and cons we noted: PROS - Waterpark - There are numerous slides, and we rode them all. They are well-maintained, and there are lifeguards posted throughout to make sure things stay safe. - Laser Tag - This was a blast and should not be missed. The staff knows how to vary the game to make sure it stays fun and competitive. - Family Friendly Environment - Despite the fact that the park has beer and wine flowing freely, we never once saw someone acting inappropriately or drinking in excess. - Sports Courts - We did not use them, but they have a beautiful football pitch as well as multiple tennis and paddle courts that can be reserved for an extra charge CONS - Food - I’m just gonna say it, the food was nasty. It was hardly edible. My son likes meat but would only eat the hotdogs. My wife likes vegetables but could not stomach a salad. It was all mass-produced, dripping in oil, and served in a buffet-style format (unless you ate in a themed restaurant that serves the same food but with a limited menu and table service). Despite having an all-you-can-eat option, it’s possible my family lost weight eating here. - Hygiene - Because the food is served buffet style, it’s not exactly hygienic. We saw people using hands and utensils from other plates and tables to serve themselves. Also, we frequently had to look hard for really clean plates and bowls because there was commonly small residue left on “clean” plates - Ultra All Inclusive - We upgraded to the Premium and Ultra All Inclusive status. It allowed us to skip to the front of some (but not all) lines for food and drinks. It also allowed us to eat meals in a separate restaurant (but it served the same food as the other restaurant, and it had shorter hours and was even closed on some days). There were also some limits on some activities. We could only play laser tag or do the video game experience twice during our visit. This really bummed us out. - Ice Rink - It’s NOT an ice rink. In small letters, they do note it is “synthetic” which is to say plastic. It’s virtually unskatable. To add insult to injury, you have to wear gloves (which are sold for 3 Euros) and pay money to reserve your time. Next to the food, this was the most disappointing feature for my family. - App - There’s an app you use to do some activities (but not all activities). I.E. you book reservations at the themed restaurant or to play video games but not mini-golf or climbing. It’s a mixed bag and very confusing. Also, some activities require additional payment, and I could not make them through the app (but you are supposed to be able to do so). It’s also not available in the app store to download in advance (but their welcome emails encourage you to download it) - Maintenance - In general, the park needs some TLC. There are some very glaring things that need to be done, such as updating signage where letters have fallen off or securing trash cans that were at some point mounted to the ground to lock them in place but over time they’ve lost their nuts and bolts and as a result get knocked around. There’s just a bunch of small things that make you get the sense that they stopped caring about things. Would I go back again, no, but we did have fun, and we made the most of it and my kids really enjoyed it.

I don't even know where to start here. I am not usually one for reviews as everyone's expectations are different however, after spending the money we did on a 2 week holiday at this resort we could not have been more disappointed!! ||Firstly, the worst l part of the holiday was the awful, awful food. With all inclusive we expect to have something for everyone and this just was not the case. If you are vegetarian/vegan or have other dietary requirements I absolutely wouldn't even entertain this. There was literally zero variety, the standard was incredibly poor, and the quantity also not sufficient considering the amount of guests it was hosting. When staying somewhere for 7+ nights anyone would want to eat well and a nice variety of food, you will not get this here. The golden arrow restaurant was so busy, always a queue to get in there, once we waited nearly 20 minutes to be offered a table, it cannot sustain the number of guests it has. The tables were not cleared quick enough, there were often no glasses or cutlery on the table and it just felt poorly managed. After 5 days, and eating out for 2 of these evenings, we complained to the Jet2 rep who advised us we had been given a complimentary upgrade to the All Inc Premium which allowed us to eat in the Lionheart restaurant for the remainder of our stay. It took the staff a further 3 days to update the room numbers as we encountered problems entering the restaurant for breakfast and dinner EVERYDAY!! This restaurant, while nicer and quieter with a table service option along with a Childs buffet still does not cater to all dietary requirements. Every evening was a meat or fish option, nothing for vegetarian or vegan. The children's buffet was literally the exact same items every single night. Pasta was over done and hard, and sausages were undercooked. Service in the 'premium' was mixed. Some of the evening staff were nice and friendly however most of them made you feel like an inconvenience for them doing their job. I genuinely don't think I saw any of them smile ever! Breakfast staff, especially a Spanish male who spoke NO English was incredibly rude and abrupt and would rather walk straight past our table than offer us something to drink. One morning we were sat down waiting to order drinks and he walked straight past us to a Spanish family who has literally just walked in and weren't even sat in their seats yet. After paying a considerable amount of money we still spent a further 500 Euros on food alone.||The entertainment, shocking! Everything geared very much towards Spanish. A stage with someone on it shouting a mixture of Spanish and English is not exactly entertainment. |The mini golf and football was fine but with very little else to do this also became a little boring. The list of entertainment certainly doesn't quite meet the expectations once you are here.||The main pool and slides will keep kids entertained, however, it's very very loud, lots of bellowing through speakers, with limited things occurring throughout the day. You must be mindful of height restrictions for the slides for younger children. The restriction is 120cm for all the slides and whilst the leniency varied between lifeguards it was incredibly frustrating watching them freely wave down Spanish children who were considerably shorter than my daughter whilst firmly telling her she couldn't go down. |Whilst I like that the pool is closed until 10am and you will have to queue so everyone has equal opportunities, its the usual scrambling and running for beds, whilst lots of the Spanish didn't seem to think the queue applied to them and just walked straight in when the gates opened. |The idea of paying deposits for plastic cups is a good idea as keeps the place a lot cleaner and far less mess to clear up.||The smaller pool was more enjoyable, bar was cleaner and less busy. However, lots of ants and bugs on the sunbeds which certainly became annoying. Overall it felt like everything needed a good wash down, the fake grass is a good idea although at the main pool this became very muddy in parts and was splashing mud all over the sunbed and towels.||I cannot stress how disappointed we were with our holiday and would strongly advise anyone to really consider what it is they're booking. We are very surprised that Jet2 happily put their name to this hotel and will unlikely use Jet2 again either.||The best part of our evenings were actually walking down into Albir to see what good food we could get out, and thankfully the restaurants we chose didn't disappoint.||Each to their own, but this is as honest a review...

Absolutely Awful Experience – Avoid at All Costs!!!!!!||We stayed at Magic Robin Hood for 7 nights from June 6th, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst holidays we’ve ever had—especially for the price we paid. Speaking to other families staying at the resort, it was clear we weren’t alone. Everyone we spoke to had paid a lot of money and felt completely let down by the experience. For a so-called "family resort," this place is a total disaster.||From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude, unhelpful, and unwelcoming. They rolled their eyes at each other and spoke in Spanish right in front of us in a clearly mocking tone. We were left waiting in the hot midday sun for over 2 hours to check in, with no refreshments or shaded area offered—despite having young children and an older family member with us.||The check-in process was a mess. Our booking had been mixed up, with the children listed as lead passengers, and staff kept insisting we didn’t have a valid reservation. The eye-rolling and dismissive attitude made an already stressful situation even worse.||As for the rooms—they’re more like run-down garden sheds than holiday accommodation. Cheaply built, poorly maintained, and everything looks like it was thrown together as quickly and cheaply as possible. The TV was literally hanging off the wall, repairs were slapdash, nothing matched, and everything—from fittings to furniture—looked second-hand or bodged together. One of our huts had no working air conditioning, making it impossible to sleep comfortably in the heat.||The rooms include a microwave and oven, but—ridiculously—there are no utensils, pans, or crockery provided. What’s the point of having cooking facilities if there’s absolutely nothing to cook with?||The showers are tiny and uncomfortable, and the water quality was so bad it left my hair feeling sticky and dry at the same time. The "Daily cleaning" just meant fresh towels and bed sheets. The floors were filthy—so much so that I had to put shoes on right after showering to avoid dirty feet. One day, they changed my bedding and replaced my pillow with one that had stains on it.||The food was another major letdown. I saw staff smoking and handling food without washing their hands after touching dirty surfaces. The dining hall is big but chaotic, with greasy chairs and no real hygiene control. Birds fly in through the open back and perch above diners. Sounds charming until you realise they’re defecating on tables, chairs—and sometimes people. One even landed in our morning tea! just yuk!!!!!!!||The “all-inclusive” package is misleading. Unless you upgrade (and pay more) for the “ultra” wristband, you’ll find yourself in long queues at bars, limited to one food hall, and forced to pay extra for most activities, with the exception of the water slides. Even at the pool bar, you have to buy a plastic cup and pay by card—no cash allowed.||The on-site shop is another nightmare. No items are priced, and one day we saw a 7-year-old girl charged €65 for a small bag of pick-and-mix. The staff member grabbed her purse and took all her money. When her mother confronted them, she was told there was no manager and that the staff could do whatever they liked. Disgraceful for a family resort! ||The overall attitude of the staff was appalling. With the exception of one kind bar worker, everyone else was rude and unapproachable. They would take plates from your table while you were still eating, and acted like any request was an inconvenience.||Health and safety is also non-existent. There’s no visible first aid point and when asked there was no first aider. If you injure yourself—good luck.||To top it off, trying to leave the resort is a nightmare. You must use their approved taxis, which often means waiting over an hour just to get out. Coming back is easier, thankfully, as you can use any taxi. The price was fair, around €11 a trip. ||To make things even worse, on the last day we were kicked out of our room early in the morning and had to wait 6 hours in the heat for our coach transfer. We asked if we could pay to use another room or even just extend our stay by a few hours—and were flat-out told “no.” To top it off, after 12:00 noon, we were no longer allowed access to food or drinks—despite still being on the resort, with children and elderly family members, waiting around in uncomfortable conditions.||This place is overpriced, poorly run, and utterly miserable. Save your money and avoid it at all costs. We have never been so happy to go home...
