On holiday and definitely worth the walk. Great view for how easily accessible it is. The main road is relaxed walking and the outlooks post, may require some more effort. Overall id say it is accessible for beginners as well. I was however disappointed that it seemed there were more tracks but its basically just one road to the lighthouse and back. If you’re looking for challenge, this isn’t it, but dont deny yourself the view: Seeing as my apartment was only 15min walk away, I have no regrets. Excellent day out for 2 hr stroll up to the lighthouse. Follow the road up past the lookout. 2nd lookout to left of tunnel.. Watchtower after tunnel. The old caves with. Wall paintings 1950s not stone age. Pass the mine works just before el faro. Go up the cliffs to the left of el faro. Be carefully. 1000 ft 333mt drop. Longer walks to Benidorm. Very hard up and down. 7 miles. The antenna gives terrific views. Out to Altea, Calpe, moraira. Sierra Bernia, Sierra Calpe, penon de ifach. Alicante in the distance. Do remember its a national park. Great place for a walk not far from seafront. Can walk up hill to entrance or there is a car park. Toilets and seating at the entrance and a few benches at view points . No facilities or toilets at light house itself. Free small museum to look in. Great track wheelchair and pram friendly. People also on bikes or electric scooters. Great views across to altea . 1.5km if you stick to main track smaller tracks off if you want to explore well signposted. Once you reach 1km mark you can look at the lighthouse in the distance and either carry out to the top on return to the entrance. Worth the effort how ever...
