Castillo de Fornà — Attraction in l'Atzúbia

Only open on Sunday between 11am and 1pm. Charged 2 Euro per head, children and adults same price. If you want the tour guide to take you round then it's 3 Euro and probably worth it, but it is only in Spanish.

Drive to the highest point you can, then there is a small parking lot and you cannot go any further.

Walk up is about 5 mins and very steep, and entrance is via large locked doors, just knock and the guide will come and open for you.

Try to spot the bats in the stable (ground floor). I nice visit, great views, probably spent 45 mins there, good to visit if you are passing by on...

El Castillo de Forna-Adsubia, le hace falta una buena reforma, lo pide a gritos. Menos rotondas o redondas, menos rescates de autopistas , radiales, tranvías y aeropuertos. Y más rescates en el patrimonio cultural en la comunidad Valenciana, es un hecho. El Castillo de Forna está en ruina total. Es la seguna vez que estoy en este pequeño castillo y las dos veces en domingo en teoría el horario es de 10,00 a 14,00 horas, pero las dos veces no pude verlo por dentro porque estaba cerrado.En La Web si pone el horario al público Domingo abierto. Publicidad engañosa, antes de ir a ver el castillo informense a ver si hay suerte. Yo llamé por teléfono de información y nade se ha puesto al habla..Pero aún así merece la pena pues, subir tiene un aparcamiento en la mitad del camino, el último tramo es empinado y hay que subirlo andando. ves la antigua alquería de Forna. Interesting little castle which is free to go round. Only open on Sundays from 10 - 2, sign at the entrance says something about guided tours on certain days.

Note that if you cycle from Oliva, google takes you on a "via piste" (track) but part of the track at the top of the hill was washed away, you can get past but not the easiest route but...
