El Portitxol — Attraction in l'Escala

Visited multiple times during both the week and the weekend. Lovely beach. Quite natural. Compelling rock features all over the place. Some portions of the beach are so rocky that it hurts the feet a bit to go into the water, while other parts are all sand and much more comfortable. Ich kann nur zustimmen. Der Strand "El Portitxol" ist auch unserer Ansicht nach der schönste Strand rund um L'Escala. Vom Platja de Montgó waren wir sehr enttäuscht, da dieser völlig überlaufen ist und kaum Platz bietet. Die Bucht an sich ist zwar schön, die Enge der Liegeplätze macht dies jedoch komplett zunichte. Den Platja de Riells fanden wir ebenfalls wenig reizvoll. Der Platja El Portitxol ist (vermutlich aufgrund des felsigen Untergrundes im Wasser) relativ wenig besucht. Der Liegebereich des Stand ist aber komplett mit Sand bedeckt. Einziger Wermutstropfen, der kostenpflichtige Parkplatz, welcher mit 1,68 €/h bzw. 1,74 €/h zu Buche schlägt.
