Platja de Riells — Attraction in l'Escala

It was quiet when we visited but we had a great time here. There are some nice restaurants and terraces. The beach has a playground great for kids that is still in eyesight for parents who like to enjoy a good lunch or coffee. The little harbor is great to view some yachts and sailing boats. I can imagine that in the main season, this place is more vibrant, but even now, with not too many people walking around and shops being open, it was a great place to settle...

If you get to visit, look for the little prince, the fox and the rose. Each one of them is looking at the other. If you get a chance to visit in the fall make sure to carefully pick up and eat a fugue from the tree. Gorgeous peaceful...
