Our experience was unique! This venue perfectly combines history with breathtaking views of the countryside while being conveniently close to the sea, the city, and both airports in Catalonia. The ancient stone walls and peaceful atmosphere created an enchanting setting for our special day. Without a doubt, it was the perfect choice to surprise our guests, clearly different from the typical, overcrowded, touristy, or overpriced locations. It may not be as well-known as some of the other castles in Spain, but that only adds to its charm.
As we once said to Sue, this place is the definition of silent luxury, and we’re not the only ones who think so. It has been featured in renowned luxury sites and magazines, and even celebrities have chosen it as a private escape from the spotlight. Their commitment to privacy is excellent! In fact, we gathered information from other popular venues and some of the so-called "famous" wedding planners in the Barcelona area, and honestly, some of them are all about appearances, be careful, because not everything is as it seems in social media...
The level of service we received at Castell d'Enfesta was simply top-notch and, most importantly, transparent. They took care of every little detail, from organizing the ceremony to handling the reception arrangements, even helping us with pre- and post-wedding events, including one that wasn’t even at the castle! They found us the perfect spot and created an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. What truly stood out was their honesty and generosity; they even went the extra mile without charging for things that other places wouldn’t have hesitated to bill us for. The least we could do was surprise Sue and the planning team with a gift during our wedding—we wanted to share a piece of our happiness with them! The catering was outstanding, and our guests couldn’t have been happier (and fuller—SO MUCH TASTY FOOD!). We have so many good things to say about the place and the planning team that we just realised how long this review is, but they made our planing so easy that it deserves this and much more! We have just landed from our honeymoon and received some of our pictures, so the least we can do to thank the whole team at Castell d’Enfesta is let everyone know our beautiful experience! Our wedding wasn’t just as we had imagined—it exceeded all our expectations. From the very first contact on a videocall, Sue, Naila and the entire team treated us with such care and dedication that we felt truly special, as if our wedding was the only one, always available even on weekends, we felt that we actually mattered. And this was everything that we needed to make our decision. We had friends getting married in lovely places, but they always complained about how they were fooled by first impressions, but this definitely NOT our case 😊 The fact that they only host one wedding per week gave us so much peace of mind and made everything feel unique and personalized. It’s a magical place, full of history and beautiful corners, but what truly makes the difference is the incredible team. From start to finish, they were by our side, listening, guiding, and making us feel supported every step of the way. For nearly two years, they were available for anything we needed, always with a smile, endless patience, and a determination to make everything perfect. Their professionalism and warmth gave us so much confidence throughout the whole process. The wedding day itself was simply perfect. All of our guests, including those who traveled from abroad, felt welcome and cared for from the moment they arrived (they were even greeted in the parking lot!) until the very end of the celebration. From the first moment we laid eyes on the venue and we spoke to the team, we felt a connection. It's more than just a location! Sue, Naila, Merce and all the team, our wedding wizards, deserve a standing ovation! Their knowledge, warmth, and genuine care turned the planning process into a fun adventure. We felt like we were planning with a friend who just happened to be an expert in creating dream weddings.
The venue, with its aparent modest charm, became our personalized luxurious space, exactly what we wanted! (Our guests expressed how enchanted they were). There were no compulsary providers, and in fact, we were able to chose the caterer we wanted. This feature was perfect for us as we loved a specific team that came cooked and served their michelin star dishes.
