A amazing sandy and black rock beach. Pure white Popcorn stones too. People have built black larva rock circular windbreak areas for sunbathing minus the breeze. Amazing rock pool areas teeming with fish. Saw a group of Sanderling birds on the rocks. A long walk over the amazing protected dunes or just find an area to swim or sunbathe. Along this stretch is a windsurfing school, so interesting viewing the windsurfers. No tiolets or shops other than at the hotels which are at either end of the vast expanse of beach and dunes. People park along the roadside or down by the hotel road at the far end. It can get busy at the far end out...

Beautiful beach with miles of sand. Lifeguard huts along the beach. The day we visited it was very windy & the amber flag was up, which then changed to red. That should mean no one in the water but some people were still in near the edge jumping over the waves, including my family. No shelter from the hot sun. We didn’t have sun parasols but could’ve done with them, not only for sun but for he sharp sand blasting against us! Sea was colder than I expected at first but soon got used to it when the waves were slapping you. The sand was hot in some places. There were shower facilities along a wooden bridge...

Take the time to visit the Grandes Playas of Corralejo, located at the very north of Fuerteventura. Stunning beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters – a true refreshment for the senses. The beaches are wide, spacious, and never overcrowded. The steady wind makes it a perfect spot for surfing and kitesurfing. There's a wonderful energy at the beach – people enjoying themselves, soaking up the sun, the wind, and simply life. The long, wide stretch of beach flows into sweeping dunes and continues on into the hilly, mountainous...

Crystal clear water, clean sandy beach, plenty of space, not too overcrowded. What people don’t mention here though is how MADLY WINDY it gets here and how the WATER IS COLD. We couldn’t stand the cold wind and after being in cold water for 5 minutes and shaking while lying on the beach we moved our stuff into one of those rocky shelters, where it was bearable. We didn’t stay there much longer after anyway, as the sun was nowhere in sight. Just so you are prepared and maybe take more layers with you on your visit.
