Came by unannounced during harvest time which is as busy as a winery gets in beginning of September. But was greeted by a super friendly and enthusiastic guide, Ivan. He helped guided us through the tasting and let us even taste wines which weren't listed. Also was able to answer every question proficiently and convened his knowledge with great passion. Read moreSo, we left Falset and took a leisurely if windy road to Mas Alta. For wine lovers, I recommend. We were warmly hosted, a short hike up the terraces to see those vines, then to the tasting room. I can only say that it was an amazing tasting, some unexpected treasures were revealed, and made it back in our luggage, old Priorat white, Artigas 2014 and '17, we can't wait, then the reds we ended up with magnums from 80 and 100+ year old vines, Garnacha and Caragnino. All round a privilege to have had the opportunity to be there....
