Lovely walk with the whole family. We took the route around the Leon dormido the first time and it was a mostly flat walk with a couple of steep hills. Beautiful beech forest and cool temperature considering the high 30s at the sun. We took the route to the top of the Pico a week later and it was tough on my 8 year old as most of it was sun facing and it was quite hot at 10:30 am and the terrain was very uneven and quite inclined.
