Bodegas Loli Casado — Attraction in Lapuebla de Labarca

We did the tour at bodegas Loli Casado and it exceeded our expectations. The tour was given by Loli and her intern Manon, who translated everything to English for us. Manon told us it was her first time translating the tour, but we couldn't tell because she did such a great job!! The tour was really fun and interesting, we learnt so much and Loli and Manon took all time needed to answer all our questions. You could tell how passionate they were about the business. We had a private tour (just my girlfriend and me) and it felt very personal. Besides, the wines tasted so good we took 5 bottles home. Would definitely recommend this tour and the wine!! We went for three winery tours and this was our favourite! Loli and Jesus were such jolly and warm people. Even though we couldn’t understand Spanish, we could sense their enthusiasm and love for their craft. Their intern (Laura?) helped to translate everything to English for us and we learnt a lot and really appreciated it. We were super impressed with their wines and bought three bottles home. Unlike the commercialized bodegas, this was more personal and thoughtful and we’re glad we managed a trip there! Don’t miss the “Christmas surprise” too. We showed up unannounced (which was not nice of us) for a tasting and to buy a couple of bottles to take home. We were warmly welcomed by a girl, that is doing her agronomy related internship at the place. She was very knowledgeable about the wines of this cellar as well as other questions about wines and olive oils of the region we had - in english.
